When the Gator Slap is born in round one, you know you’re in for something special.
Kiawah Osprey Point
Not ranked in any major publication, for good reason. A perfectly fine resort course that served its purpose as a nice first round of the trip coming straight from the airport. However, it will forever live on in Beer Strokes lore for the inauguration of the Gator Slap rule, which Coop used to great effect on #10 and carried the momentum through the back nine to jump out to an early lead.
Dinner that night at the Ocean Room at the Sanctuary was excellent, at least according to Coop, who was the only one to actually eat at dinner. Todd ate only dessert, and Shaffer never made it out but finished Todd’s dinner around 3am, giving it a thumbs up. This is the way.

Yellow Jacket: Todd. Despite rinsing his tee ball on 18 with a seemingly comfortable lead, then proceeding to nearly rinse the Shit Ball. A tight battle with Coop the entire final round at May River.
